I just purchased two khaki Campbell ducks that were a straight run. Now I am worried that if one is male I will need to get another female or two so he doesn’t wear my girl duck out. Has anyone had problems with one male and one female?

It is always better to have more than one female so might be a good idea to start looking for a few more females.

I raised 2 Welsh Harlequin ducklings together (one female and one male) and the drake is extremely nice to the duck and never wears her out. It really depends on the personality trait of the male. I’ve found if they are raised together as ducklings they are better. However I would keep an eye out as they get older. :)
