I’ve been working with Dutch Hookbills over 5 years now. Does anyone raise them? I fell in love with them. When I first inquired the breed the “hook” was very poor quality. Over time with selective breeding I have finally got some birds that have a beautiful hook! Next years goals is selecting better body type and getting more blueish green egg layers. This year I hatched my first black bibbed hen. I only know of a couple breeders who have the color. I also have Dusky, Dusky bib, Aleutian, Golden Aleutian, and Golden Dusky.
