Raising fish for chickens?

Well, I was thinking I would probably have to get the fish out of the barrel for them.But, the fish can eat the mosquito larva that I'm probably producing by trapping rainwater to water my garden. I'll just have to make sure I don't use all their water and kill all the fishes. Otherwise, it wouldn't be a very sustainable system.

Yes, chicken can eat fish. High quality chicken feed often contains up to 5% fish meal as a protein source. Even more in a starter ration but in a layer ration it can make the eggs taste fishy.
