Raising geese for meat - doesn't mean you don't care about the animals

We butchered a few more geese and ducks this week. Got rid of the last of the geese ear marked for butchering this year plus a naughty gander who was not falling into line no matter what we tried. Our muscovy drakes butchered yesterday were 8lbs skinned! Very lovely looking birds, cant wait to fix a couple here soon.
