To expand on the thread title I'm asking specifically about raising goslings when you need to be away from home 8 hours a day. Ideally I'd like to take some time off when I begin raising them but I guess I can't be off work for the whole time they are growing up.
To get to the point then I guess what I'm asking is how safe is it to leave goslings in an enclosed environment without risk of harm during the working day? Do they NEED someone around all the time or if they have a nice area to settle down in with fresh food and water and heat will they be pretty much ok?
