Hey y'all!
I already have a small flock of ducks, but I want to add one or two goslings this year. I also am adding a couple of new ducklings at the same time that I'd be adding the goslings. Does anyone have experience raising goslings with ducklings? And how do goslings raised with ducklings interact with grown ducks when introduced?
Thank you so much for any advice/input!

*disclaimer. I have no experience raising goslings with ducklings.

I do however, have experience raising Muscovies and chickens with ducklings. The three groups got along well until they matured, and then slowly began to separate. At two years old, the 'Scovies hang out at the barn, the chickens joined the other hens in the coop last winter and never separated, and the ducks stay at the pond. They eat together when I feed them and there are never any fights, but they are definitely three separate flocks.

My goslings and ducklings were shipped together, brooded together and raised together until this spri g when the gander seriously messed up a female duck mating her (torn skin and feathers everywhere) . They all got separated at that point. If I didn't have a male goose I think they would still be living together happily. In fact I juat started another thread because I'm thinking of moving one of the female geese back in with the ducks.

Oh noooo...poor girl. Glad they are now separated.

I have never raised mine with ducks as babies but I have raised one with chicks

Our seven Rouen ducklings and two French Toulouse goslings were shipped together, brooded together and are now housed together. For a short time last fall, we saw one or the other goose picking on a duck hen, but for the most part they all got along great. They wandered the yard together, chasing chickens and guinea fowl away from their food dishes. My husband liked to say, "They're like a gang with two huge bruisers!" They are spending more time apart, but we also haven't seen anyone get picked on in a long time, even now when they're all feeling quite amorous :)
