While last night we would have loved to try without them. They spent until 3 am screaming and hollering at something. I am thinking it was a Guinea fowl holiday and they were drinking late, or doing drugs again, They do that you know!~

Glad mine wish to join the chickens in the coop then! My dog likes beer enough as it is,(she will knock it over and drink it if able to )don't need a beer bill for my flock too.

My broody Partridge Chanticler took the 14 guinea eggs I gave her yesterday.  So my prized hen is out of the breeding schedule for a few months.. Stupid bird!   She refused to break her broodiness, so I will teach her to not want to have kids by giving her Keets to raise!    I bet she goes on birth control next year!

I've got a broody silkie on a clutch- she hasn't even hit POL yet, but decided she wanted that pile! Brings a tear to my eye.

Mine are in the Guinea Gulag this time of year, They live in the turkey hut. The turkeys refused to use it, but the guineas like it. As soon as they get out of the Guinea Gulag and free range again they will move in with the chickens I am sure. They were so loud we could hear them inside the turkey hut, and there is a chicken coop between us and them!

BTW I think they stole the beer, I refuse to buy them beer anymore, they do not know how to drink in moderation.

POL= point of lay. She's not old enough to be laying, but she's broody.
