I figured climate would have a big factor in it. Here its similar to the part of Africa they are indigenous to. But Here is the caveat to it. Unless the Guinea hen goes broody here in confinement those eggs will be either hatched by me or under a broody. Especially my breeding stock. There are just too many predators out there to let a hen go Commando...

Guineas are too evil to go broody!!! Don't worry, I love mine to death, but they are definitively not good mamas!! In fact, I believe that the only way they have lasted through the centuries is that other animals unknowingly have hatched them! (Jk)
