I've had one guinea hen hatch and raise chicks and she's been a great motherCarefully raised her chicks and slept on the ground with them until they could fly into the tree. The dads all helped too. I had more hatch yesterday. We'll see how the new mama does

For those of you considering letting a guinea hen raise the young...GOOD LUCK!!
Guineas can get lucky and raise them, maybe in drier areas better than here. We have morning rains, cool to cold morning year round with lots of dew. Dew will kill the keets. They are very fragile for a couple weeks.
To me it is not worth the risk. I wish you well if you try it. I would prefer to use a chicken that is mellow and will not go bat poop crazy if I keep her locked up for a day or two over bad weather. Besides having Keets imprint on chickens lessons some of the adult criminal behavior...
