What is the guideline for space parameters in the coop and run for them. Also how big do the nest boxes need to be?

What are you raising them for meat or eggs? do you want to incubate?

Most figure 1sq foot a bird. But some do .5 sq foot.

Most of the time the hens will lay wherever they feel like. My hens will most of the time lay in the pan of dirt I keep in there for them.

I only have 1 set of birds on the ground I have 20 in a 4x8 pen. But they can mess that up pretty quick. I'm working on a 20 x20 run to put off a line of pens they will ocupy.

The rest I keep in rabbit hutches and wire cages.

Feed them a good high protein feed 28 to 30 percent they will grow quick and give you a lot of good eggs.
