Raising kids and chickens in suburban Seattle

Hello there!

I'm a SAHM of 4 lovely children and 7 adorable 4 week-old chicks (2xEE, 2xBR, 2xBO, 1xProduction Red) just south of Seattle. I'm a recovering ornithophobic who is embracing life with chickens as a means of separating myself from large-scale egg farms. I also love a challenge, so I'm building my own coop from scratch despite my complete lack of woodworking skills.
