If your hens are laying, you could sell eggs...

Hire your chickens out for birthday parties as a mobile petting zoo...

Take pictures of neighborhood kids holding the chickens, and sell photo packets to their parents....

    Get a job.

Shovel people's driveways, weed their flower beds in the spring, do lawn clean up when the snow melts, baby sit, if there are elderly people in your area offer household help that they may not be fit enough to do anymore, offer a dog walking service, if you have a talent making something consider selling those goods, grow a garden and open a road side produce stand, sell eggs from existing chickens.

Think outside the box. There is no shortage of money to be made for kids who are not afraid of putting in the work to earn it.

Quote:This is something even adults need to hear... And really money isn't necessary for many things we want out of life... It is amazing what can be built from existing spare parts.
