Raising my first flock in East Point, GA

Hello from East Point, GA! I'm happy to be raising my first flock of 7 chicks. I have been wanting to integrate chickens into my garden for years now and my husband and I finally took the plunge last week since we will both be homebound for the summer. We picked up our chicks from a local small farm. We built a coop using mostly found and donated supplies. Our neighbors have been in very helpful and curious.

I make a perch for them out of a nice curved branch.
