Raising ramp with gate latch

Hi Everyone,

Years ago I had a coop with an automatic ramp. The ramp would lock into a gate latch, when closed for extra security. This made it secure from a predator that was trying to pull down the ramp.

I’m now building a new coop and can’t figure out how I had installed the gate latch. There was a video I had watched, that gave me the idea originally.
