Does anyone know how much a silkie would sell for these days as I might be interested in raising and selling some so I was wondering how high I should sell them for

This depends on many factors. The market in your area: Are others selling silkies, is there a hatchery close by? Things like that. Also depends on the quality. Good breeder quality can easily be $20 a piece, even more for rare colors. You would need to have the proof that your birds are worth more than what people can get for $4 from a hatchery.
I sell my straight run silkies for $15 a piece. They are nice, fluffy birds with good crests. I also vaccinate for Mareks disease, which adds to the price. One other breeder with similar quality birds sells for $15 as well, others sell for between $8-$10.
But, I live in Hawaii, and EVERYTHING costs more here. Hope this helps.
