You could try using sand bags if nothing else.Lay them on the bottom of the run and sides then fill with large chucnks of wood mulch like someone else mentioned.Boards will help keep the sand and chips inside and water out. I suggest you put a couple flexible drain lines underneath the run too if possible.French drains are a Godsend.
