Ramp for Duck Pool?

Home Depot, IIRC - the medium size. Typical kid pool. Wish I could find one without the decals - most of the grunge seems to come from them.

I've already started making noises to the wife about a pond - she's already past the rolling of the eyes and into the 'pretending to listen' stage. I'll know I have her when starts asking questions & then says 'no way'.

I was having the same problems with my large kiddie pool. In addition to having to remove the stones for every cleaning, they were also damaging the pool.

I bought a Skamper Ramp, thinking that I could rig it somehow. (Can't remember how expensive it was, but I was desperate for a really good solution). I ended up switching back to the smaller tubs, but I'm hanging onto the Skamper Ramp in case I decide to go back to the large kiddie pool. I don't know much about how I would have set it up or if it floats or sinks. But who knows! I thought it looked promising.

Here's what the Skamper Ramp looks like:

Can we all agree that kiddie pools are terrible quality now all of the ones here are nice thick supreme quality.
I got a 50 gal Rubbermaid stock tank if your looking for a better quality. I tried it yesterday for the first time with my first time swimmers. They had trouble getting out which is why I’m here looking for ramps. My plan is to take an old tote lid and a bathtub mat. I’ll screw the top to the 2” side of a 2x4 and just plunk it in there with the board on the outside. I think it’ll work. Wish me luck.
