Ramp height to length ration

Our coop is about 50% built and I will be cutting out the windows and pop door tomorrow morning. My question is, what the the shortest ramp I can use up to the pop door if the bottom of door is about 3 feet off the ground. We are making the coop tall to save our backs when cleaning. And while I am asking, what is the minimum width of the ramp? I am planning on a pop door that's 10"x15".

Don't have our chickens yet, we'll pick them up from a neighbor when the coop is built, but I believe we will end up with RIR's or something very similar in size. And yes, we are taking lots of pictures of this amatuer building project

I have a long ramp to my coop which is 30" up. It is 6 feet long and works great. I try to stay around a 30 degree angle to make it easy on the birds but you can go steeper if needed they'll get used to it. Just make sure there are slats or wire or something for traction. Width is personal preference. I took a 12 foot 1x6 treated deck board cut it in half, put some cross ties on the bottom to hold it together and added slats to the front. My RIR's love it. (And yes they do go up through a hole in the floor without any problems or hesitation.)

My pop door is about 2.5 feet above the ground and there is a 6-foot ramp leading to it--actually to a platform in front of the door--that consists of hardware cloth stretched between 1 by 3's. The chickens used it for the first few times they went in and out but now they mostly just fly up to the platform and go in.
