Ramp question please!

My ramp is 16 wide (I think) and has 1x2 every 6 inches. The slope of ours was determined by needing to keep it in the run area. I am going to add that gripper outdoor paint to help prevent slipping. They do slide a bit. My coop is 2 ft off the ground.

u don't need worry about a ramp, they can jump not like that have to be perfect

when mine jump, they also flap at the same time. When flapping, they won't fit through the coop door without banging their wings to I need a ramp

Not everyone uses a ramp -- a platform to flap & jump up on and then walk in is OK too and takes up a lot less room than a ramp.

I'm using a tree limb that has a good elbow in it, roughly 10" diameter. It's working great!
