My Belgian D'Anver co-broodies, Aimee and Carly, are raising 5 chicks together. They are now 3 weeks old and began ramp training about a week ago. As you can see from the videos, they have caught on quickly. We do this with every new batch of chicks. They learn the word "inside" as the command.

The first one was getting to be too large of a file so stopped and started again, making the second one as a continuation of the first clip:

Well, you know my hubby. He does his ramp training with every group of babies who comes through here, broody-raised or brooder-raised. They all learn it. Makes things much easier when you can yell one command and most of them march up the ramp right away.

I WANT THE PORCELINS I SAW IN THE BACKROUND!!!!!!

I have only the one porcelain rooster-lost the other one recently and am selling the one I have with a Mille Fleur pullet. I didn't get any porcelain hens, but sure would like one or two. I love that color, with all its subtle play of shades.

BTW, all these chicks are sired by the porcelain rooster so are splits.
