Can 5 weak old chickens use a ramp? Can they be trained to use a ramp?

Yes, they can be trained to use the ramp. Put a trail of mealworms midway up the ramp and all the way up to the coop. Set each chick on the ramp at the bottom of the trail and let them follow it up.

yes they can i have 3week old chicks integrated with my chickens and ducks and they use the ramp to go in and out from coop to run

Yes they can use it and be trained to use it my 3 week olds already know how to use it

I sprinkled some chick scratch on the ramps to lure them onto it.

Lure with mine above was mother. A group of 14 will soon be learning to go 6 feet up. Some of those chicks are American Dominique with less clambering ability.

The rungs in my ramp were to big I think so I grabbed some zip ties cut the connector off flipped my ramp over and hot glued them down about 2" apart along the length of the ramp and it works great. I still have to put 1 baby on it in the evening but not un the morning.
