Ran out of duck food can I feed just corn

So, if I remember right, cat food can be bad because it's got some type of sodium or something that most animals aren't really supposed to eat.

Is there a reason you didn't get another bag when you started getting low? It just seems odd you waited until you were almost completely out/were out before you started looking to get more feed, especially if you were going to be busy

Do you have a source for that? I've given cat food to other animals before (great source of protein!), so I'd really like to understand what risks could be involved.

I really do not. I was told it years ago and honestly it could have just been to get me to keep me and the dog from eating cat food (i was a stramge child). I've used it before for birds too, but just a tiny bit spread over time, and they haven't shown anything bad, but they didn't live off of it

No chicken feed either, the bad part about living in the “city” with ducks. Nobody has farm animals so we have no farm stores

Cat food in moderation is perfectly fine.

I tried to give it to them, they won’t eat it

The walmart doesn’t have duck food, tried that before work this morning

If you live near a petsmart or petco or any other pet store, look in the rabbit/hamster section. There will be hay and alfalfa pellets.
