Ran out of feed and everything is closed! What can I feed my chickens?

Our chicken love to eat the cat food that we have out in the barn. They go crazy for it, the barn cats don't find it so amusing though.

quick oats, bread, cooked pasta, cooked rice and/or beans, scrambled eggs, any kind of greens or veggies, any kind of dry cereal, cornbread, pancakes, alfalfa hay, bugs/worms/grubs/crickets, baby mice, lol. barley, lentils, granola, leftover meat, fish, tofu, NOT RAW POTATO SKINS. all the scraps from cooking for Christmas dinner, and the plate scrapngs after everyone is stuffed. Dog or cat food, dry or wet. Other livestock feed in small amounts, You can dumpster dive outside the supermarket at about 5 am and might get a bonus bunch of produce there.

I have heard that cat food contains something that is not good for your birds -- dog food is ok tho.

Cat or dog kibble. It won't hurt them if it's just short term. Also, tuna or cereal or any kind of greens. They'll be fine ; )

I give my hens oats, cooked rice and noodles of all kinds. Cereals. Eggs scambled with oats or in a mealworm salad like such....
