Ok, sounds like a plan. My chickens are let out everyone morning between 7 and 8.

My neighbor has big dogs, big dogs that like to eat chickens. I have already lost one of my red sexlinks. I could not prove it was them, but they looked like they had been fed for once in their life...

So that is the main reason I keep them in their coop. They seem used to it. The leghorn mixes(Ideal236) pace a lot but I give them all a chance to forage in the afternoon. They are separated by breed(roughly the sex link is in with the EEs)..

I unfortunately don't have a lot of land at the moment. I wish they could spend more time outside but ...
