You write nicely for being twelve! I am eighteen. Sounds like mink or something along mink lines to me too. We have a opposum problem where I am. And Bobcats. We have foxes but they stay to themselves as well as the coyotes. Racoons are an issue to but the current problem is mice!

It sounds like you have a lot of predators I America, I assume your in America, are you?
I live in Ireland so we only have foxes and mink really. My dad in England is having trouble with the fox he has left my gran with two hens, and taken all my dads Appenzela's.
And my dad went out hinting and got one vixen, unfortunately its not the fox causing him problems so the hunt is still on.

Yeah I am in North America. Could you tell by my little knowledge and Mixed breeds? My friend I talk to on here is Italian and he only has rare pure breeds. He is on this thread I started called Cross Continental Friends. You can join if you want. If you do be warned it can be a little strange sometimes. It is Bill in Italy- Karen in California Tarheel Birdy in North Carolina- A nice Lady in Spain and me in South Carolina.

Appenzelers(not sure if I spelled that right) are beautiful chickens! That's to bad. And yeah predators are a problem. I live on a half wooded lot and so that makes it a little worse. I love it though-living around woods that is. Quite beautiful here, especially now in the spring. Probably not as gorgeous as Ireland though!
