Random deaths

Just put my chicks outdoors in the pen with some adults. The chicks are feathered up and the weather is decent. All has been fine for about a week and today i find 3 dead. Any ideas...i only have one male and have seen no aggessive behavior, actually he pretty much ignores them so i dont think it is the adults.

How old are your chicks?

I get the feeling that you didn't leave your chicks in the brooder long enough, and you put them outside without "acclimating" them to the weather. Here is a link you should check out.

Just fed the birds..no more deaths overnight. Keepin my fingers crossed
