Ended Random Funny Posting Day and Mini Contests FUN Night! 5th Annual BYC Easter Hatch-a-long PARTICIPANT

Pictures don't even come close to doing this justice, but this is the top of the Pacific Crest Trail on the Sierra Nevada Mountains, near Tinker's knob. 8,950 feet in elevation. My 14 year old son and I hiked 56 miles of the Pacific Crest Trail in 5 days this past summer. If you look down the trail, you can see some people, to give you a gauge of how massive it is.

You can tell it's massive..just beautiful You hiked this? Wow, to be young again. :) I used to hike the Uintas!
Back pack and all. It is really pretty up there. Will have to look for photos of the area. Not of my own, would
have to dig into the 3 ft. deep photo bin!

awesome! without you!

Cynthia - those pictures are gorgeous! Yes, I hiked that - 56 miles of that with a 42 lb pack. We did it as a Boy Scout trip. It was exhausting, but so fun too! It was really interesting talking with the hikers that were hiking the entire Pacific Crest trail - all 1200 miles of it!

Mike - great pictures! My DH wouldn't like it so much if I went on vacation without him! Belize, how amazing!
