Random jumbo egg - no clue who laid it

Congrats on the jumbo. Question for you why are your eggs so dirty? I see it often enough and wondering what conditions the hens are living in to have eggs like that. Sorry not trying to be rude but I just don’t understand it. Sometimes I’ll have a couple eggs that have a few spots on them after a rain storm from hens tracking thru the mud but that’s about it.

I wondered the same.
