ok- i am tired of the bad news on tv, i feel terrible about so many people losing their jobs, homes, life savings, ect.... i would like to ask and challenge every person on the forum to perform an random act of kindness... doesn't matter to who(even if its giving your pet a new toy or your birds treats) as long as it brings somone else other than yourself joy.
i am taking my husbands grandfather and grandmother fresh eggs tomorrow because he loves them and talks so much about"when he had chickens so long ago". let's change someone's day if even for one day!!!!

For the reasons you stated, we watch Beverly Hillbillies, Hogan Hero's, Green Acres and Jeopardy.

I perform an act of kindness every day that I don't shout and smack the adult children in our house.

I donated money to the Red Cross Bushfire fundraiser .It may
not make much differance but it made me feel better . Random
acts of kindness are a win win situation

i talk about this to a lot of people, most of the people who will are people who already try. People who dont try most of the time will not... They just look for them to receive and never give... yet they never get either ( i wonder why? :O ) i will try my best to though

lately i have been spending time with my grandfather since he gets kind of lonely and sadly doesn't have much longer in this world. year tops.

At the grocery store yesterday we had a guy in front of us with a small baby.....he had a package of pampers, formula, steaks and flowers in his buggy. He didn't have enough money to pay for his total......We paid the difference so he could have a nice Valentine with his wife.......

Small amount to pay for young love.......

DW stopped and changed a flat tire for an older woman on her way to work yesterday.

Also yesterday, I found a cane hanging on a checkstand at the grocery store and sprinted to the door to return it to the woman who left it there.
