What makes the whites stick to the shell on boiled eggs??? I recently boiled a pot of eggs... all the white eggs laid by my leghorns I could not peel but brown ones laid by my RIR where fine ... they were all boiled at the same time

I thought it was me boiling my eggs "wrong" cause they were impossible to peel ... My Dad always said I couldn't boil water
& I'm not fond of cooking either. Read somewhere about "fresh" eggs not peeling nicely. I love boiled eggs & devil eggs so I buy eggs for that & use my fresh eggs for baking & whatever else. I also notice fresh eggs don't scramble "fluffy" so I add some milk to it but it's sure makes nice over easy eggs.
