Do chicks pee? I was wondering because there's little wet spots around their doodoo.

Nope, they don't pee. Your chicks have probably just been drinking a lot of water - perhaps they're overheating?

Their "pee", called urates, is the little brown turds with a dollop of white on them, rather on the dry side without much smell. Their "poop", called ceacal, is the dark brown , very, very smelly poops that have the consistency of chocolate pudding.

The urates can sometimes be very watery if they've been hot and are drinking a lot of water.
