Random Ranting.... Why why why

Why is it in the state/county where I live the police do not come and help.... I had horses being stolen off the property of a barn I manage and the sherrif didn't come and help... he brushed me off....I was so outmanned... They (6) of them just kicked down the fences and took the stock and I was helpless to do anything (since my rifle was miles away)... The law regarding horses in the county I live in... stink... These horses were seized from the same fellow a year ago and there was a restraining order against him... and they said it was a civil matter and let 8 horses just be removed by force from the property.... I am outraged at least.... I followed the trailer while they were taking the horses to a new location and called in a 911 call because the fella driving was an illegal alien w/o a drivers license and had no trailer brakes, light, or turn signals and they let him go through their "trap" 4 times... I know I was behind him and then they pulled me over because I had a cell phone in my hand!!!! I am outraged!!! The humane society siezed these animals from the same ppl they let gadabout through town... right in front of them and let them do it!!!!

I am soo exausted and they will be back tonight I am sure... What do you do when you call for help and the very ppl that are there to serve and protect... Fail to protect you?????

I'd say go get your rifle and protect yourself since they won't do it!!! May not be good advice but thats just me.

Sounds like it's time to make a complaint against the Sherrifs Department with the state attorney general.

What the crud?!?!?! I'd set up traps around the barn and electrify all the gates with a load of juice for the theives. Go all Home Alone on their butts. I wouldn't shoot them, I'd make them suffer!! That's just SO wrong! Sorry low down horse stealing animal abusing pieces of garbage!!!

They would have been gone before I got back... I took the horses from them once and shooed them off but they just kicked through the fenceboard and got them and walked them right over the top of me... (I have to admit I was little afraid)... The one fella has been in jail multiple times for assault and the other one... Well I am sure he has it in for me now... They abused and neglected these horses so badly...some died... and I was helpless to stop them from taking them a year later... They had been casing the place for months ... The sheriff was aware of the problem and just shuffled me under the rug... probably too much paperwork for the weekend. The humane society is outraged... I may end up calling the media. I hate publicity but when public outrage gets results I can bend a little.

I will be calling my congresswoman on Monday... I have had it... This isn't even the third run in with uneducated sheriffs department. They don't make the connection between horse theft and criminal activities...

PS, somebody kicked down my fence and stole from my property (felony) I would have so much lead flying through them they could use appendage(s) as a pencil....
