But don’t they make more mess?

What kind of mess? My cats aren't messy. I don't have naughty cats, either. I know people complain about their cats shedding their claws on the furniture but mine don't do that.

Just can’t get over the fact that they knock stuff over on purpose. And I would never want them to ruin my chairs/couches.

Oh yeah, some cats knock stuff off surfaces intentionally. None of mine do, though. It's a personality thing.

Hahaha! My fluffy black cat named Talaat is the one who most people might consider naughty. He eats house plants. So my options are to either have no house plants or have them up so high he can't get them.

I agree. My rabbit was chewing on a box.... There was wine in that box
