I'm glad I'm not the only one with about a thousand random things to do around the house. I need to clean my kitchen. Organize my basement. Paint the trim around a window.

We need a companion thread "random things we accomplished today!"

I did most of the things on my weekend list, but I should add that SOMEDAY I need to get a battery for my watch and for Hawks' collar,
and perhaps clean off my desk one of these days...

Mop the floor.
Get my truck washed/waxed/vacuumed.
Buy hard plastic mats for my truck.
Fold the towels that are on BOTH sofas.
Go to the beauty shop and get my hair washed.
Get some more steel toe boots.
Clean out the chicken coops.
Clean and throw out old stuff in the fridge and freezer.
Get more light bulbs from the store.
Remember all of the random things that I need to do and get it done .

Finish draining the funky water from the pool, then put in some fresh water in the deep end for the frogs. This pool was empty for YEARS before I bought the place so I don't figure it'll float out of the ground once empty.

Scrub the patio.

Fix the <bleeping> circuit breaker that fixed.

Screw a vent cover down (or glue it... ha ha)

Buy a magnetic cover for the vent by the fireplace.

Fix a flourescent lamp in the basement.

Paint the chimney.

Fix the bad areas in the patio (suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuue. Like that's gonna happen anytime soon!)

Cut the long grass near the pool fence (Oh teenage son..........where are you?)

Get the rest of the broken bricks dug out of the ground behind the shed. Salvage any that are usable & dispose of the rest.

Get family member to haul off his lousy broken mower so I can have the space back in my shed (long story...)

Waterproof the privacy fence (all the stuff is in my garage. However, the motivation isn't there.)

Trim the overhanging trees and bushes.

Do something about the compost pile that isn't composting fast enough.

I need to vacuum again.

I need to make a Random thing that I have got done thread.

I have to return something to the library, but I don't know where I put it... it's been on top of my phone shelf for MONTHS.. and I moved it to motivate myself to return it.. but... now I don't know where it went!

Clean out the sandpit that is part of the septic.
Clean out the bad insulation and debris in the crawlspace.
Finish digging out the strwberry patch so I can build a car pad turn around.
Replant the 7 ornamental grasses I dug out to build the car pad.
Clean the house clutter.
Get the furnance checked.
Call the photo company about missing school pics I paid for.
Cut more holes in the chicken shed for plexi glass windows.
Rake the leaves.
Help dd with her 3 research report of the year.

I think I will just go read and cook some brownies for the kids.
I wish it was time to order some seed catalogs!
