Range Feeders

Has anyone out there made range feeders to hold about 1000 lbs of feed out of wood? I am looking for some ideas to keep feed in for my turkeys for next year. I will be moving 75 at a time through 1/4 acre paddocks and would like to base the move based on when they run out of feed.

I would rather build then purchase plastic.

Images would be great if you have them with some dimensions.

I would recommend you think about the cost involved and wheather you will be able to keep the food from going bad (molding) I know locally on craigslist you can find 275 gallon square plastic containers with a metal cage surrounding for about $75.00 all day long. They use them for industrial oils and fluid and most are water soluable so you can wash them. I am getting a couple myself for capturing rain water for the garden.
