Oh yeah bad roos get canned, literally I intentionally ordered straight run to hopefully restock the pantry, but I think I’ll try to sell most of the extras from this batch and just hatch some out for that instead.

It is supposed to get cold tonight (-9). I am putting out hand warmers in second handpillow cases for them to sit on. The did also get some for the day and were sitting on them. They also have a heat lamp that is chained but I thought I would give them extra heat.

That does seem a little excessive but I don’t blame you because I give my chickens more than they usually need, too because I love them!
