Humm, never seen silkies (nice ones at that) sit on the swap boards this long either. I know EVERYONE doesn't put their incubators away for the winter.
I wish I had something to trade for them. I am in the North East and afraid to ship any eggs right now. My luck they will freeze.
I hope she still has some in the spring to offer on here.
I second that! Gorgeous birds they are....
Wish I had some to trade, still in the in-between stages here...
Oh, and the Blk Copper Marans, wow....nice too.
I'll just drool for now, and make plans for next swap....
okay, you guys said the D'uccles counted as fancy, what about bantam cochins?? smooth and frizzled?
they're considered fancy right?
and what about sizzles?? i know technically they're a cross, but are they considered fancy enough for the train??
I'll take the Golden Lakenvelder eggs, and offer 6 Buff Brahma Bantam eggs from my NPIP Certified flock. These are Arbuckle/ Rust and Bill Bowman lines, and should produce some SQ chicks.
I'll take the cochins and offer 6 BLRW eggs (Standard) or if they don't end up laying 6 which I'll add a few cochin eggs also with as many BLRW eggs they lay.
Splash roo with splash hen, blue laced hen and golden laced.
