I will be traveling to Spokane this weekend and can transport birds.
A trio of Black Orpingtons (standards). These are first year birds. The rooster is black and the hens are black & splash. With this crossing you will only receive blue or black chicks. They have been laying daily since February and produce medium-sized brown eggs. Fertility has been proven with shipped eggs and here on the farm both in the incubator and under broody hens. These are not hatchery birds; they are from a reputable breeder and are very good breeder quality, consistently producing better than themselves. $65 OBO
Mille Fleur Cochin (F2) bantam rooster. Nice little roo second generation cochin. Will be a nice addition to someones breeding program getting started with this extremely rare & highly prized color. He has good type & heavy foot feathering. No beard. $50 OBO
One pair of breeder-quality Sebastopol geese from Holderreads Waterfowl Farm in Corvallis, Oregon. These are both young birds, having hatched in March 2009. They will be breeding age next spring. Both are smooth-breasted and the female shows some tendency for angel wing. The male was from my own stock (hatched here on the farm) and has been imprinted & handled daily since hatching. The female is directly from Holderreads and is standoffish, but not mean. $140 OBO
Pair of adult black Cayugas, directly from Holderread's. They are about 1.5 years old and very cute. I will include two 7 week old ducklings from an unrelated flock in Texas. They are not sexed, yet but seem to be another pair. $60 for the four of them. Or will sell the two pairs separately--adults: $40 and ducklings $25
Sorry, no trades I'm working towards my NPIP certification and do not want any outside birds coming in. I will trade for incubators, brooders, chicken tractors or cash.
