Golden Cascades were developed by waterfowl expert David Holderread in 1984. These ducks pretty much lay year round..my bators are full! I am having camera issues so I have not included a picture although there is one in my profile..but not a very good picture. Here are some better pictures:

Eggs will ship Monday or Tuesday as the girls allow...shipping will be included. One dozen.

I have changed this to a "For Sale". If they are not sold I will set them myself.
I can have more available as the girls provide them if more than one person is interested in getting them.

I would be very interested in purchasing a dozen in early April. Let me know if this is possible and your price.
Thank you!

Please send me a PM when you want them.

Thanks for your interest.

Bump on an old thread. I spoke to Holderread Farms today and they indicated that they are going to be retiring at the end of this year in regards to breeding ducks. Does anyone know of any other sites where I can obtain GC ducklings or GC fertile eggs?

Thanks!

If I may ask, did you ever find out? I'd love to know as well.

The breed was named for its golden hue, as well as the prominent Northwest Cascade Range. It is raised primarily for the production of eggs, and also as a backyard bird. But the breed is still not accepted into the Standard of Perfection of the American Poultry Association.
