Rare phase Appleyard, or what's up with this duck?

Both apple yards and 300s have the mohawk.. The only way to tell them apart is by the color of their legs, 300s will have all black legs meanwhile appleyards should have yellow/orange with a little bit of black on them.

And the bill on an Appleyard should be orange. Some other threads in this forum have had similar questions about such mystery ducklings, and they turned out to be golden 300s.

Also, since it came up, I'll add that eye stripes on an Appleyard duckling are not in line with the American Poultry Standard, so don't breed for those traits.

Now the appleyard in question (with baby pics above) has a grey bill and orange legs...0_o Updated photos below.

Baby pic and 2 current photos. It's playtime inside thanks to the weather.

I respectfully disagree. Khaki Campbell's would not be a yellow duckling and do not have rust colored breasts. He reminds me of my Khaki/Appleyard cross but mine had facial stripes and is more tan colored. He also was a tan duckling and had a very dark bill as a duckling. I am not sure what yours is, maybe some other cross. Maybe a Welsh Harlequin/Appleyard cross?
This is mine when he was little (ignore the bottom picture, I did not mean to attach it and cant seem to get rid of it).

So here is an update on Mystery Crispin. Kind of hard to tell due to bad light, but there is almost a pink tone on some areas like the chest and neck, and on the face. Bill is almost blueish like my campbell's.

Any thoughts on Crispin's breed/sex now? Is a very talkative duck. I'm still leaning towards hen due to the multitonal voice and occasional loud outbursts. May just be a loud drake? Most confusing duck I've had.
