Rare/Standard Assortment Arrived! Guess my Chicks!

Week 2 update:
One of the WJG may have fooled me. We are beginning to be suspicious.

We will see how it goes, but that little comb is not looking promising, especially when compared to the other two.View attachment 2276010

Still thinking possibly two cockerels and one pullet on the Buffs.

View attachment 2276019NN still possibly 1 pullet and 2 cockerels. One I think is a definite boy. View attachment 2276020I could be persuaded on this one either way still. View attachment 2276021
I think pullet on the last.

It’s been fun watching them grow and trying to guess. Excited for what they will look like next week!
They're very young to sex, but I agree that the first White Jersey Giant is suspicious! You did great guessing the breeds!

Oh yeah, super young! I just thought it would be fun to make early guesses and see how they develop and if I end up correct.

We aren’t quite on week three but there have been... developments.
Mr. Suspicious is definitely not suspicious any longer. Suspicious is a roo.

One of the Buffs and one NN are definitely looking rooish as well.

The little NN is a total dill weed at this point and is generally making a nuisance of himself. He’s already squared up on my hand and tried to go after me. The WGJ is actually pretty calm and easy going. The Buff is somewhere in the middle.
The rest are still in question.

At this point I don’t find any of them as personable as my EEs. They seem like nice healthy chicks though, which is a nice change from my last batch.

Week 5:
Missed week 4 due to vacation winding down and school kicking up. Chicks are now outside and integrated with my flock.
The current situation looks like 3 for sure roosters and 6 pullets. Sexing by wing length was only so so. For the NN and Buffs the cockerels has the shortest wings and the slowest feather growth. The WGJ cockerel grew its feathers in the fastest, including tail feathers, and had the longest wings.
The 3 cockerels.

This is the NN I thought was a pullet all along. Now I’m not so sure. The feathers are looking a tad cockerel-ish. The comb isn’t as big as the one NN that I know is a cockerel, or pink, but it is bigger than the NN pullet.
