A rat started to build a nest inside the engine of my tractor. It was accidentally killed when the engine started. The nest was in the very beginning stages but she had chewed through two wires. Can anyone identify what those wires are for / what they lead to? It’s a 2016 John Deere 3202E. I took a close up shot and one further back to help orient the viewer. The white wires in the first photo are what she chewed. I couldn’t locate the numbers online. The tractor had just been fully serviced and is sorely needed right now so I’m prepared for the worst case scenario.:heI just don’t want to have to pay for the hauling back and forth to the shop if it’s something that can be done at home. Thanks for your help.

It is antique tractors but may be willing to help anyway. Or point you to help.
Thank you so much for helping.:hugs I was in a state of shock having just had the tractor serviced. Since I needed it quickly I called the dealer again last week. The really pleasant surprise of it all is that John Deere Finance covers rodent damage :weeand it has one month left of warranty. Sooo, it is back with them again, getting repaired. Apparently that is a very expensive component.

I called today and the repair didn’t meet the deductible so it wasn’t as expensive as I thought it would be. It’s a sensor. They did need to dismantle some of the panels to get to it all. The jolly green fellow comes home tomorrow.
I’m clearing out my outdoor chicken / dairy work area to park it inside and spray the whole dang place with rodent repellent.
