I am not sure how much my chickens are of rat poison and not sure who got it down
from a very high shelf and did find some black poop but not sure who pecked at it
what should I do? I gave all fresh water everyday and even put some nutri french in everyone's water

What kind of rat poison is it you think your chickens might have ingested?

Vitamin K will help to prevent them from bleeding out inwardly, but depending on the kind of rat poison it might have to be administered for several weeks or month.

D Con the brick kind. I am keeping an eye on them .what kind should I get ?
it looked liked not much was packed at

Where I live they sell Vitamin K next to the rat poisons but that is outside the US. You'll have to figure out where or how to buy Vitamin K, which one to buy Vitamin K or K1?, and then follow the directions how to administer it.

The good news is that if you can find it, there is an antidote and it probably is easy to give to your chicken like regular vitamins.

I searched online and you may be able to get Vitamin K at walmark or walgreens. There doesn't seem to be a difference between K and K1. Vitamin K is for blood clotting which is what you need.

Dosage is 1-3mg per pound 2 to 3 times a day for 2 to 3 weeks. I would start the dose heavily at 3mg a pound 3 times a day and then taper off slowly to 1 mg per pound twice a day.

Vitamin K has no toxic dosage, and is water soluable. You may even try dissolving a lot of it in the water and treat all your chickens because there is no toxic dose (according to my research not experience) and that way you can be sure that the one who ate it is getting dosed fully.
