Once upon a time we had rats and mice tunneling into our henhouse and yard for food.
We no longer leave feed in the henhouse nor yard at night. We also no longer feed the chickens in the hen house...just in the pen. But, like I said, we move the feeders out at night.
We built a rodent proof room in our shed for feeders and feed. No more rodents. No more problems ! YAY.
And, we also are up to 5 cats now, too....btw.
