10!!!!! I love ducks!

she's gorgeous. I think I may have some sumatra in one of my Easter Eggers that I bred to a blue Ameraucana. 2 of the young pullets from this mating now have black in their combs. I'll try and get pics of them later today. The sumatra's don't lay very well do they.. are they more ornamental? I really love black chickens that have that beautiful green sheen on them and the black combs make them more attractive to me. Just gorgeous!

Thank you! Bali hasn't started laying yet, but I will let you know how many eggs she gives me a week once she is. I have heard mixed opinions on that matter, but one thing is for sure; they are definitely an ornamental breed.

10 - i love ducks too... I wish they weren't so messy. I had to rehome all of mine except 2 welsh harlequins. The flies were out of control. I couldn't bear not having any ducks so I kept 2 welshies. Here are 2 young muscovy drakes that I had. I used to put them in a hat and sit them in my lap lol

7 - I have to admit I'm kind of scared of these things. I guess it has a cute nose like a pig but it's like a big rat to me... so sorry and no offense

I can't believe when I was younger I kept hamsters... one of them gave me a nasty bite on my finger and now I'm scared of them too lol. My niece has a rat as a pet.. she hugs it and kisses it and stuff UGH

Found this ON the house today. My husband was kind enough to move it far away from the house for me. I'm also terrified of anything that has more than 4 legs lol

I love piggies..... though I can see your point. hamsters are actually not very nice, I agree with you on that. Piggies are nice if you know them, but just plain food motivated!!!! I taught my piggy stella to stand on her hind legs when I say "up, up" in like, 10 minuets!!!!
