Current PO delivery person is about a 5, but the person before them I'd give a negative value. They would leave the mail hanging out the box to "flag" predators. Yes, I think they did it on purpose because it was not just my box but all the boxes up and down the street. I would walk up to the mail hanging out, tap it and it would fall into the box... nothing impeding it. It was done either on purpose or out of laziness.

PO is a 10 Maillady is a 10 ++++ Honestly for a small town this post office is AOK!!! They are awesome and spend days helping to find out info on how to ship a chick. took 2 weeks but she finally found out for me and has ALL the info to do so. WOO HOO

Sure some of individual workers are better the others, but my experience with USPS as a shipper of thousands of items over last 10 years (ebay) is no good. (I never shipped eggs or any perishable items) but they managed to:


Destroy maul, lose , ruin , run my shipments over with postal truck (tire marks on returned items) many times.

I received shipped eggs on few occasions, but I would not attempt to ship eggs, to be honest. Too much risk especially with rare breeds and expensive eggs.

The average customer will blame the seller first before it even gets to his head that USPS screwed up.

This whole thread is just pure rambling and it is not going to improve or affect USPS operations.

The cold fact is the USPS as an institution or company or whatsoever is irresponsible and not accountable for their actions to consumers.

Unfortunately we all are at their mercy.

I agree with everything you said but there are mail carriers on this site who dont like use to speak our truth.
