Rats, anybody?

I am the proud mom to 2 hairless rats

a white female ( with 1 eye ) Victoria and her BF who is a blue/grey hairless Dumbo named Fredrick

I also work at a pet store and care for a small colony of 20 feeder mice - - a white dumbo female - a small colony of other rats from hooded to solid browns and a white female


I am waiting to get a female hooded rat


Rats are wonderful critters and I have never been bitten by a rat yet but I have been bitten by my share of hampsters - I found hampsters and gerbils will bite more often than any rat I have ever had or worked with

Trust me, mom was less than enthused. She HATES them. They are like mini rats

Super sweet. We have rat terriers so um... escapes never ended well

My son talked me into 2 ratties and at first I was not so smitten with them.....but, they won my heart with the sweet temperament and funny antics they do. They actually lick us affectionately. They are dumbo sisters and one is a verigated beige and white and the other is a charcoal and white; Sparkle and Aubrey Much nicer than hamsters or gerbils that poop and pee on you....ours wait to go back in the cage and then go in one corner, so I think they are very clean pets. I would highly recommend them for kids and adults!

I have a few that eat my chicken feed you rat lovers are more than welcome to before I figure out how to exterminate them.

I have 3 pet rats a PEW momma (Fudgey) and her two half wild daughters(Mocha and Cocoa). Fudgey is getting pretty old and has been having a lot of health issues recently. I had two different rats before i got these 3. I seriously think rats make the best pets ever.

That is the reason they are still here. I am not going to let them go to somebody who wants to feed them to a snake. If I can not find a good home for them then they will carry out the rest of their lives here with me

I am the only one who can do anything with them.
