Can I give my chickens a bath with Epsom salt to help them. Some of them have lost the feathers off their back ends and their skin is all exposed. They all seem happy but to me they don't look very comfortable!

Sounds like a feather pecking problem??
How old are there chickens?

They are all 3 years and up! I have 12 total but only three are affected with the bald area. The skin looks very red! I had chickens for about 7 years and have never had this happen to them!

I'd look for bugs first...late at night well after dark when the night mites emerge.
Google mite and lice and their eggs images before inspection, will help ID whatever you might see.
Rule out bugs....not sure what you can really do.

Mine have been afflicted so numerous times, doesn't really seem to bother them.
Sometimes the redness only last a few days, sometimes longer.
Feathers will grow back after molt.
