can chickens eat raw clams?

Well When I was a kid,I used to catch them in the fox river. I would cut them open and feed them and chubs to my muscovy ducks. OMG did they ever love them!! They would eat the chubs(minnow type fish) whole!!! I am not sure about chickens, but if the clams are fresh and not spoiled, it should be fine.

I doubt clams are on the typical foraging list of chickens. Let me guess, you somehow inherited a bunch of steamers and don't want to waste them?

While I would say chickens might eat them, they are not a recommended item IMO. To each their own though, so feel free to report back.

I shucked them they are fresh its not the whole clam just what stuck to the shell
