This was done by ducks(removed now) but its been months now and it doesnt seem to be getting any better. Im worried about the sun and if it will be any better. Any suggestions?

I have put a saddle on birds in that condition. The feathers will probably not regrow til the next molt. Here is how to make them. There are usually some for sale in our BST forum as well.
